Position Title: AI Designer
Department: Creative Art

Role Summary
The AI Designer is responsible for using AI to generate images and visuals for branding, social media, and marketing campaigns, then refining them into polished, on-brand creative output. The role needs strong creative judgment and design skills, so that everything produced looks professional and fits the brand, even when AI is doing the heavy lifting.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Creativity

  • Use AI to generate original, high-quality visuals for branding, advertising campaigns, social media, websites, and packaging.
  • Refine and finish AI-generated images so they look polished, professional, and ready for client use.
  • Design engaging graphics, illustrations, and layouts that match brand guidelines and client goals.
  • Keep design style consistent across all marketing channels for a given client.
  • Use AI to quickly produce Gen Z-focused creatives, typography-led designs, trend-driven social media content, meme formats, and high-converting performance marketing ad creatives.
  • Stay updated on design trends, color theory, typography, and internet culture to keep content relevant and engaging.

 

Branding & Identity Development

  • Use AI to quickly create mood boards, style guides, and brand templates.
  • Develop and refine visual storytelling for client brands.
  • Work with account managers to build and refine brand identities, including logos, color schemes, and typography.

 

Collaboration & Strategy

  • Present design concepts to clients and internal teams, and incorporate feedback.
  • Contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions.
  • Adapt design style to different industries (fashion, lifestyle, corporate, tech, etc.).
  • Work closely with account managers, photographers, videographers, and developers as needed.

 

Project Management

  • Review AI-generated visuals carefully to make sure they are accurate, original, and on-brand before sharing them further.
  • Organize and maintain design files and assets securely.
  • Manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines, communicating directly with stakeholders wherever required.

 

Required Skills

  • Experience in graphic design, preferably in an agency setting.
  • Strong portfolio showing a range of design styles and projects, including work created using AI
  • Comfortable using AI to generate images and visuals as the main part of the design process.
  • Good eye for spotting and fixing flaws in AI-generated images to make them client-ready.
  • Good understanding of typography, layout, branding, and social media content.
  • Experience designing performance marketing creatives for platforms like Meta and Google.
  • Strong skills in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Knowledge of motion graphics, video editing, or UI/UX is a plus.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
